H2 Physics includes three additional sections not in H1: Waves (Wave Motion, Superposition), Thermal Physics (Temperature & Ideal Gases, Thermodynamic Systems), and Oscillations. H2 also includes a Paper 4 Practical examination worth 20% of the grade.
Assessment Format
H1 Mathematics is assessed via a single 3-hour paper marked out of 100.

JC1
JC1 Physics introduces concepts that are qualitatively different from O-Level. Many students underestimate the conceptual leap. Our JC1 coaching focuses on building genuine understanding — not just formula memorisation.
We ensure students understand the 'why' before the 'how' — especially for abstract topics like electric fields, SHM and wave superposition.
Calculus-based derivations, vector resolution in 3D, and uncertainty analysis are introduced progressively with guided practice.
Paper 4 Practical skills — experimental design, data analysis, error estimation — are built from JC1 to avoid last-minute cramming.
We proactively address the most common conceptual errors (e.g. confusing force with energy, or velocity with acceleration) before they become entrenched.
JC2
JC2 Physics is about integrating knowledge across sections and performing under exam conditions. Our coaching targets the specific skills that distinguish an A from a B — precision in language, multi-concept problem solving, and data interpretation.
A-Level questions routinely combine 2–3 sections. We train students to identify which concepts apply and sequence their working clearly.
Papers 2 and 3 include stimulus-based questions with unfamiliar contexts. We practise the skill of applying known physics to novel scenarios.
Regular timed mock papers under exam conditions, with detailed marking and feedback, to build speed, accuracy and exam composure.
